March 5-7	Ennis Book Club Festival
	Participating authors include Lionel Shriver, writer of We need to Talk about Kevin and Claire Keegan, writer of Walk the Blue Fields and Antarctica.

March 6-8	Dublin Book Festival
	A series of events promoting Irish writing and publishing.
	Dublin City Hall, Dame Street, Dublin 2, events all day.

March 25-28	DLR Poetry Now 2010 International Poetry Festival
	A series of events organised by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, featuring Irish and international poets.

April 16-18	Franco-Irish Literary Festival
	Theme: La Ville/The City/An Chathair. Events take place at Dublin Castle and Alliance Francaise.

April 20-25	Cúirt Literary Festival
	Events take place in Galway city. Full programme available in 2010.

June 1	Dublin Writers' Festival
	The programme of events, workshops and readings for 2010 is being planned at the moment.

June 2-6	Listowel Writers' Week
	The programme of events, workshops and readings for 2010 is being planned at the moment.

July 4-10	West Cork Literary Festival
	The festival takes place in Bantry, Co. Cork. The programme will be available in early 2010.

July 24-30	Hopkins International Literary Festival
	Events take place in Newbridge, Co. Kildare and include poetry, readings, lectures, films, music and workshops.
