I was an English teacher for eight years so I know how much emotional energy teaching consumes. Congratulations on your writing achievements. I have been writing for several years and can relate to what you say about submitting work and not getting anywhere. I know how disheartening it can be. Being able to communicate with other writers and being part of a writing community, even if it’s only online, is so important for maintaining belief and momentum.
